Palin gets ‘encouragement’ from Letourneau

MINNEAPOLIS-- New Hampshire delegates will return home with countless stories, but state Sen. Bob Letourneau (R-Derry) might have the best story of all.

After returning from the convention hall, Letourneau, along with other delegates, met Gov. Sarah Palin who was signing autographs and taking photos at the Hilton. According to Letourneau, Palin said she remembered the state senator because he was sitting in the front row of the New Hampshire delegation.

"She saw me and came up to me and said ‘I remember you from tonight, you gave me a lot of encouragement while I was speaking.' That was just incredible," Letourneau told PolitickerNH.com.

Letourneau praised Palin's speech and said she will exceed expectations in the fall.

"I almost feel bad for the opposition, she's going to tear them apart," he said.
