[img_assist|nid=3415|title=Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, left, with congressional candidate Bob Clegg, center.|desc=|link=none|align=none|width=420|height=280]During the final days of his congressional primary campaign, state Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson) has turned to an old friend to help his campaign.

Clegg has launched a radio ad that features former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Ark.) praising Clegg's stances on various conservative issues. Clegg supported Huckabee during the New Hampshire primary.

"Hi, I'm Mike Huckabee and I'm calling to tell you about my good friend Republican Bob Clegg who is running for Congress in the 2nd District," Huckabee says in the ad. "For 14 years in the state legislature, Bob has fought to protect our conservative values of limited government and low taxes. Bob has been steadfast in protecting life, parental rights and our 2nd Amendment rights to own and carry guns. Please support Bob Clegg for Congress in the Republican Primary on September 9th."

Clegg is running in the Republican primary in the 2nd Congressional District against Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro), Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) and Jim Steiner (R-Concord).
