Two state representatives resign

CONCORD-- Before taking up special legislation to deal with the anticipated home heating crisis, the New Hampshire House accepted resignations from two of its members.

Embattled state Rep. Jim Ryan (D-Franklin), is under arrest for charges relating to a forgery case, officially resigned.

State Rep. James Kennedy (D-Exeter) also resigned. Kennedy decided not to run for re-election.
