The man who held Hillary Clinton staffers hostage in their Rochester office last year pleaded guilty today on six B class felonies relating to that situation.
Leeland Eisenberg, of Somersworth, plead guilty to four counts of kidnapping, one of criminal threatening and one of a false report to police.
The holdup last November was interational news for an entire day. In jail since, he has been productive.
The Foster's Daily Democrat notes: "While there, he has earned his General Education Diploma and was awarded a $150 check in recognition for writing the best essay about adult education and gaining his diploma. Eisenberg said the diploma signifies for him self respect, a sense of achievement and a "passport to the rest" of his life.
In addition to his academic achievements, he also entered a 90-day program to address substance abuse problems."
