Palin also paid homage to the fall foliage and the state motto of "Live free or die."

"God has so blessed this state. The foliage is just absolutely breathtaking," Palin said at Dover High School.

Palin said that residents in both Alaska and New Hampshire enjoy outdoor recreational events and care about the environment.

"We all love good moose hunting and we both so enjoy our great lands," Palin said.

She added, "We love being outdoors."

Citing McCain's come from behind victory in the New Hampshire primary Palin said, "John McCain has a history of overcoming the ads in this great state and that's exactly what you can do on November 4."

Recent polls show McCain losing to Obama, in New Hampshire, between 5 and 10 points.

Palin also used Dover to argue that people move to New Hampshire because of low taxes.

"I hear that here in Dover it's home to two people the fine people of New Hampshire and the people of Massachusetts who got tired of paying taxes," she said.

Palin spend the day attending rallies in Dover, Laconia and Salem.
