Lynch’s war chest dwarfs Kenney’s

Fundraising reports reveal that Gov. Lynch (D-Hopkinton) has raised significantly more money for his re-election campaign than his rival state Sen. Joe Kenney (R-Wakefield) did for his challenge.

In the latest fundraising period, Lynch raised $75,603 and Kenney raised $13,843, according to reports filed with the New Hampshire Secretary of State. Lynch also has $368,466 cash-on-hand compared to Kenney's $29,635.

Despite polls showing Lynch carrying a significant lead over Kenney, Lynch spent $232,495, while Kenney spent $1,436.

Lynch's political action committee gave several contributions to other Democratic PACs. Lynch gave the Committee to Elect House Democrats a $2,500 donation and the Manchester Democratic City Committee $300. Lynch also gave the state Senate campaigns of Kathy Sgambati (D-Tilton), Molly Kelly (D-Keene) and Betsi DeVries (D-Manchester) $1,000 contributions.

Lynch also made a $1,000 donation to the New Hampshire Disaster Relief fund.
