ABC News: McCain decreasing TV presence in Granite State

John McCain's campaign is decreasing its television presence in Wisconsin and New Hampshire, according to a report by ABC News.

"Instead of placing new television advertising buys in those states, they say the McCain campaign is stretching out previous ad buys over more days rather than devote new ad money," ABC's News George Stephanopoulos reported.

Jeff Grappone, McCain's New England press secretary, said that McCain remains "committed to New Hampshire."

"Each campaign is constantly moving strategically, but the Democratic assertions are wishful thinking," Grappone said in a statement to PolitickerNH.com. "We're committed to New Hampshire, as evidenced by John McCain's Wednesday visit to the state."

A recent Concord Monitor poll showed Barack Obama with a seven-point lead over McCain.
