Peterson endorses Martin

Former Republican Gov. Walter Peterson has endorsed the Democratic candidate in the state senate district three race.

Peterson has endorsed Bud Martin (D-Center Sandwich) over Wakefield Republican Bill Denley.

"I appointed Bud Martin to the District Court because of his integrity and commitment to his community and our State.  In his time as a judge, Bud has demonstrated these qualities in his extensive work on behalf of children and families," Peterson said in a press release.  "It is for these same reasons that I am supporting Bud Martin in his race for the State Senate.  He is the kind of leader who will bring people of all parties together to work on behalf of New Hampshire's families and small businesses."

Martin said, "I am incredibly proud to have the support of such a great statesman as Governor Peterson.  I hold Walter Peterson as the gold standard in terms of leadership and devotion to this state."
