Horn endorsed by troop group

CONCORD--Congressional candidate Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) gained the endorsement Move America Forward's political action committee, MAF Freedom PAC.

According to a Horn press release, "MAF Freedom PAC is committed to supporting America's efforts to defeat terrorism and support the brave men and women of our armed services."

"She wants to defend the country she so loves," Debbie Lee, a member of the group's board of directors, said at a press conference.

Horn said she was "honored" to have the group's endorsement

"We must have a government put our strongest support behind the men and women of the armed services," Horn said.

Lee's son, Marc Alan Lee, was the first Navy Seal killed in Iraq in 2006. She has since been touring the country speaking on behalf of the group.

Horn is running in the 2nd Congressional District against U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord).
