Firefighters endorse Lynch, Shea

CONCORD-- One of the most prominent unions in New Hampshire endorsed Gov. John Lynch (D-Hopkinton) and Executive Councilor John Shea's (D-Nelson) re-election campaigns.

The Professional Fire Fighters of New Hampshire endorsed the two at a press conference at the Legislative Office Building. David Lang, PFFNH's president, said that Lynch and Shea act as a team like firefighters do.

"We have that same team in Governor John Lynch and Councilor John Shea, the same exact team concept in which they work side-by-side together," Lang said.

Shea said that the firefighters' support, and Lynch's support, will help lead him to victory over Dan St. Hilaire (R-Concord).

"With the help of Governor Lynch and the professional fire fighters I think I will win on Tuesday and continue the progress we have made," Shea said.
