Lasky relying on popularity in senate race

NASHUA-- State Rep. Betty Lasky (D-Nashua) told PolitickerNH.com that her visibility in the Nashua community will help lead her to victory on Election Day.

Lasky is running for the state senate seat against Sandra Ziehm (R-Nashua) in District 13.

"I've spent most of my adult life in Nashua working to help people and I hope it comes back tenfold," Lasky said.

Despite the absence of straight-ticket voting, Lasky said that having Gov. John Lynch (D-Hopkinton) on the ballot will help her campaign.

"It can't hurt to have the most popular politician in the state supporting you," Lasky said.

Lasky also said that she will be working until Tuesday to meet voters and increase her visibility.

"We're going to be campaigning up to the very last day," she added.
