The political radio show Chowder in the Morning has been cancelled by 1110 WCCM.

The host, Arnie Arnesen, emailed listeners to notify them about the cancellation.

"Given the imploding economy, the dramatic drop in advertising dollars and, perhaps, a less than enthusiastic commitment to radio that attempts to educate and entertain, I regret to inform you that Chowder in the Morning will not be around to serve up a salty bowl of politics, policy, pundits and people every weekday morning," Arnesen wrote.

Arnesen will continue doing her weekly television show Political Chowder.

Arnesen is a former state representative and former Democratic gubernatorial candidate. Earlier this fall, Arnesen was ranked number 44 on PolitickerNH.com's list of the 50 most politically influential personalities.
