Anti-tax groups to share offices, resources

Two prominent anti-tax advocacy groups are joining forces ahead of the next legislative session.

The New Hampshire Advantage Coalition (NHAC) and the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers (CNHT) have decided to share office space in Concord.

"NHAC is excited about sharing office space and resources with the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers," Mike Biundo, chairman of the NHAC, said in a statement. "CNHT has been a leader in educating and giving local taxpayers the tools they need to protect the New Hampshire Advantage. Their no sales or income tax pledge has been an important asset in the fight to keep taxes low in New Hampshire."

Biundo added, "Our shared office space and knowledge will allow for a better response to the constant effort to increase spending and raise taxes on all levels of government."

NHAC has been promoting a spending cap initiative in several cities and towns throughout the state and CNHT organizes efforts against a sales or income tax.
