Gregg, Sununu PACs report latest fundraising numbers

The federal political action committees of U.S. Sen. Judd Gregg (R-Rye) and U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley) have filed their post-election financial reports with the Federal Election Commission.

Gregg's PAC, titled White Mountain PAC, reported that it ended the latest fundraising period with $74,131 cash on hand, while Sununu's Daniel Webster PAC ended the period with $42,930 in the bank.

The filings also offer a glimpse of which political campaigns received financial support from each senator during the general election.

Sununu, who lost his re-election bid, gave $1,000 donations to the State Senate campaigns of Bob Letourneau (R-Derry), Christian Callahan (R-Portsmouth), Doug Kruse (R-Manchester), Bill Denley (R-Wakefield), John Gallus (R-Berlin), Greg Knytych (R-Laconia), Paul LaFlamme (R-Nashua), Sandra Ziehm (R-Nashua) and Fenton Groen (R-Rochester).

Sununu also gave $1,000 in contributions to the executive council campaigns of Dan St. Hilaire (R-Concord) and Russell Prescott (R-Kingston).

The Daniel Webster PAC received $5,000 in donations from the American Resort Development Association, Valero Energy Corporation Political Action Committee and from the FMR LLC Political Action Committee which represents Fidelity.

Gregg also gave money to State Senate campaigns, but in smaller amounts. He gave $500 donations to Denley, Callahan and Groen. Gregg also gave $250 to LaFlamme, Sharon Carson (R-Londonderry) and Andy Sanborn (R-Loundon). Gregg's largest donation went to Kruse who received $1,000 from the White Mountain PAC.

Gregg contributed $1,500 to St. Hilaire, $3,475 to the state Republican Party and $1,000 to Joe Kenney's gubernatorial campaign.

Gregg's PAC received $5,000 in donations from the Credit Suisse Securities, Raytheon Company PAC and UnitedHealth Group Incorporated PAC. Union Pacific Corporation gave Gregg $2,500 and the Independent Community Bankers of America donated $2,000 to Gregg.
