Sullivan Republicans pick Gale for chair, elect committee members

Last weekend the Sullivan County Republicans re-elected their chairman and elected members to the state committee.

Last Saturday, the Sullivan County Republicans selected Harry Gale of Sunapee to be their chairman for the next two years. Gale is a former state representative from Sunapee and is also Sunapee's town and school district moderator. This will be Gale's second term as county chairman. Ernie Bridge was elected vice chairman, David Roark and Margaret Drye were elected co-secretaries and Chris Vinci will be the treasurer.

At the meeting, they also elected twenty committee members that will help select the next chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party. Former Gov. John H. Sununu is the only candidate who has declared for that post.

State Senator Bob Odell (R-Lempster) and State Representative Beverly Rodeschin (R-Newport) were elected to be committee members along with: Anthony Maiola, Tom Howard, Steve Cunningham, Bob Beaudry, Steve Smith, Tom Laware, Betty Maiola, Rodd Ward, Don Gobin, Jeff Goff, Don Clarke, Victor Bergeron, Joe Osgood, former Claremont Mayor Scott Pope and Jay Flanders.
