Sununu, VA Secretary to tour N.H. hospital

Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley) will meet Tuesday with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary James Peake to discuss extending further health benefits to former Granite State servicemen, the senator's office said. The statement also described Sununu's continued interest in making radiation therapy available to more New Hampshire veterans.

Peake will be in Manchester that morning to visit the Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Grant Bosse attacks Paul Hodes on energy

The campaign of New Hampshire Republican congressional candidate Grant Bosse today issued a press release attacking Democratic incumbent Paul Hodes for supporting a proposal from Congresswoman and fellow Democrat Carol Shea-Porter that would mandate oil companies to drill on any federally leased land in their possession. Bosse is running against Hodes for New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District seat.

Obama Names Former New Hampshire State Director as West Regional Director

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign has announced that its onetime New Hampshire state director, Matt Rodriguez, will serve as West Regional Director for Illinois Democrat's White House bid, according to a statement.
