BREAKING NEWS: NH Dem Chairman calls the people "thugs"

 

NH Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley

Using what could be best described as an "ugly" term for someone in the chairman's position in one of the mainstream political parties here in New Hampshire, Democrat leader Ray Buckley shows signs of becoming completely unhinged in the face of the groundswell of anti-socialized health care sentiment.

In what is becoming to be an apparent pattern, Chairman Buckley has once again resorted to calling ordinary people concerned for their state's and country's future names. Recalling that back in April, following a number of Tax-Day Tea Parties, he referred to attendees-- which included people of all ages and stripes-- as an "unhinged mob," we now find out that we are "thugs.

Such a Mean Old Man

In the interview, Gregg objected most strongly to Obama's proposal to devote 18 percent of cap-and-trade revenues to fund clean energy projects.

"A hundred twenty billion is a lot of money," said the three-term moderate. "It's obscene."

Mean, snide, and transparently partisan.  And coming from the no-strings-attached Bush Bank Bailout's biggest cheerleader, patently hypocritical.

It's obscene.

Today's convention schedule

The fourth and final day of the Democratic National Convention will be called to order at 5:00 PM EST on Thursday, with a theme of "Change You Can Believe In."

The final day's events will take place at INVESCO Field at Mile High, where over 70,000 people are expected to attend.

New state director for Obama campaign

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign announced Mindy Myers as its choice for New Hampshire's State Director for the general election. 

Myers, who will take a leave of absence from her position as Chief of Staff in the office of U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whithouse (D-R.I.), has promised to unify the state's Democrats in the months leading up to November.
