Kenney says oil legislation should have been formed earlier

"I'm pleased that we're taking action but I think we should have taken action six months ago," Kenney told PolitickerNH.com after a bipartisan news conference at the State House.

Group airs ad against Shaheen

A conservative grassroots group has begun airing a radio ad against former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen (D-Madbury).

The ad sponsored by the New Hampshire chapter of Americans for Prosperity criticizes Shaheen's energy plan.

Obama to air new ad on energy

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama will begin airing a new ad in New Hampshire tomorrow. The 30-second ad, titled "Hands," focuses on Obama's energy plan and touts alternative resources as a way to "build a new economy."

"The hands that built this nation can build a new economy," the announcer says. "The hands that harvest crops can also harvest the wind. The hands that install roofs, can also install solar panels."

The ad will also air in all 50 states and on cable television during the Olympics.

Bosse unveils energy plan

Congressional candidate Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro) has unveiled a ten-point energy plan.[img_assist|nid=1679|title=Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro)|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=200|height=150]

Bosse also announced his Energy and Environmental Council, which will be led by New England Wood Pellet founder Steve Walker and former state Sen. Jim Rubens.
