Sanborn to hold fundraiser at racetrack

State senate candidate Andy Sanborn (R-Loudon) will be hosting a fundraising event at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway next week.

"Sure, golf tournaments may be fun, but wouldn't you rather experience the thrill of riding around NH Motor Speedway in a fast, exotic race car?" the fundraising appeal states.

The event will be taking place on Aug. 21, and a ticket gets you VIP access to the race.

Sanborn is running in the Republican primary against Larry Elliott (R-Antrim) for the district seven state Senate seat.

Donate to Shaheen, attend a Sox game

Shaheen's campaign manager, Bill Hyers, wrote an e-mail to supporters notifying them they could enter a drawing for Green Monster tickets to the July 19 game.
