And Progressives complain about profit in healthcare?

Isn't it time to get Government OUT of the healthcare field altogether??  Hey, with examples like this, Obama's question:

The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works -- whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified."

-President Barack Obama, 1/20/09

is answered with yet another "No", it's not working....Government isn't exactly setting the world on fire for being accurate or "paying attention to detail" here either:

More government distortions of the marketplace - this is supposed to make it better?

Remember a while ago that Chicago plant that closed and its employees illegally took over the building?  And all the media and pols went "gaga" and how the company so poorly treated its employees?  How DARE a company that could not pay payroll keep that plant going!!

When Bank of America closed its line of credit, Republic Windows & Doors closed the doors.  Yes, they failed to abide by the law and give proper notification to its employees. That said, when the expected financial rug got yanked out from underneath them instead of being there as a cushion, what else could they do?

JPMorgan and BofA finally did

This is a press release just in from the White House media team. Does this plan for education (laughably part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, AKA "stimulus") sound like it will do anything to help the economy... other than that of the educational-industrial complex?

WASHINGTON – Speaking with state school superintendents from around the country yesterday, Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. Department of Education Secretary Arne Duncan urged swift action and exceptional accountability in the disbursement of education-related recovery funds.  The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, signed into law last week, represents America’s largest-ever investment in education.
