NRSC Trying to Monkey with Shea-Porter and NH-Senate

The NRSC released a web ad today trashing our Carol.

I'm not going to link to it because that's the whole point.  Web ads have no effect on anyone other than media elites who craft political narrative and dirty hippies like us who try to push that narrative here or there.

It's pretty clear the point of the ad is to get people talking up a run by Carol for Senate, and therefore a divisive primary for us and a weaker general election prospect.  Or what the Hill said:

Though the effectiveness of Web videos is up for debate, the early shots at Shea-Porter could be seen as an effort by the NRSC to get her into the race.

McCain open to expanded Seabrook plant

U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told The Union Leader that he has to closely examine the possibility of opening Seabrook Unit 2. The unit is a part of the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant located on the New Hampshire Seacoast but the unit has never been opened.

Carol Shea-Porter joins DCCC fundraising effort

U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester) has decided to join the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's (DCCC) fundraising program, The Union Leader is reporting.

The program, Frontline, aims to help freshmen Democrats with fundraising and other political activities.

DiStaso: Clegg 'virtually certain' to run for US House

The Union Leader's John DiStaso said State Senator Bob Clegg (R-Hudson) wouldn't say whether or not he will announce a Congressional bid tomorrow in Concord, but DiStaso's sources tell him it is "virtually certain".
