Update: Waxman to join Hodes for Concord fundraiser

[img_assist|nid=2290|title=U.S. Rep. Henry Waxman|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=200|height=244]U.S. Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) will join U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord) for a fundraiser next week.

Waxman will attend a fundraiser for the Merrimack County Democrats on July 12 in Concord at the Red River Theatres. A ticket to the event will cost $15.

Merrimack Dems elect new leaders

CONCORD- Merrimack County Democrats have elected new leaders and representatives to the state Democratic committee.

Alex Lee was elected chairman, vice-chair is Brenda MacLellan, Beth Campbell was re-elected treasurer and Anne Dowling is the secretary.

"It's important for us to work together and elect Democrats," Lee told the group of 50 Democrats.

To fill six committee positions the Democrats elected:  Janice Kelble, Amanda Grady, Steve Shurtleff, Terri Lockhead, Tim Chrysostum and Elizabeth Sanders.
