"Hope" and "change"... peeling away the phoney veneer

When you consider the facts from a variety of places, the luster that seemingly coats the Magic Obama is quickly wearing off...

  • Jen Rubin, writing at Contentions, notes the mess that is quickly becoming the Obama Administration and its approach to the economy, and the resulting "reporting" we're getting from the so-called "mainstream" media:

it’s no wonder his aides are attacking a radio talk show host and Dowd is ruminating about the first lady’s arms. The rest is too painful to watch.

  • The Union Leader's Drew Cline comments on DEMOCRAT Jim Cramer's buyer's remorse with his presidential choice-- at least when it comes to his "fix" for the economy--and the dust-up between him and the White House:

Cramer endorses Obama’s entire big-government agenda — except for what the President has done on the economy.

So, Democrats were going to wipe out the culture of corruption, eh?

From an email I received:

Start with:

Michelle Obama was hired at a Chicago Hospital right after her husband was elected to the Illinois Senate for a bit above $100,000. When Obama was elected to the US Senate, her salary was tripled to more than $300,000 after Senator Obama earmarked many millions of dollars for the hospital in his short time in the Senate. During the campaign for President by Obama, Michelle Obama continued to draw her salary even though not there. When inauguration day came -- and went, the hospital eliminated her job. The importance of a $300,000 job can be overstated -- and eliminated.
