Updated: House sends voting age bill to Supreme Court

The New Hampshire House of Representatives have voted to send to the New Hampshire Supreme Court a bill allowing seventeen-year olds to vote in primaries.

The House voted 196-104 to ask the Court whether there are any constitutional barriers in allowing seventeen-year olds, who will turn eighteen before the general election, to vote in state primaries.

Cullen receives NHYRs ‘Gipper award’

CONCORD- Tonight, New Hampshire Republican Chairman Fergus Cullen received the "Gipper Award" at the New Hampshire Young Republicans (NHYRs) annual convention.

The award is in honor of Republicans who have contributed to the NHYRs and the Republican Party. Previous honorees include former GOP chairwoman Jayne Millerick and current congressional candidate Grant Bosse.

"Reagan was president from when I was 8 to 16, so he was a huge reason why I decided to get active in politics," Cullen told the group gathered at Concord's Upham Walker House.

A very political Earth Day

Today is Earth Day, and it was a very political day in New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Democratic Party created an online video on Senator Sununu's "dangerous record on global warming."

"John E. Sununu's extreme right-wing record on global warming poses an enormous threat to New Hampshire and the world's climate," said Alex Reese, press secretary for the NHDP's Coordinated Campaign.
