Nader to campaign in Granite State

Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader will visit New Hampshire on October 6.

Nader is set to host a campaign rally at Dartmouth College in Hanover.

This will be Nader's first visit to the state since qualifying to appear on the state ballot in November.

Barr collects 5,000 signatures in N.H.

New Hampshire voters are one step closer to having the option of picking from two Libertarian presidential candidates.

Former U.S. Rep. Bob Barr has collected 5,000 signatures in the Granite State and George Phillies has already qualified to appear on the November ballot. August 6 was the deadline for thirty-party candidates to hand in 3,000 to local election officials who will then verify the signatures.

Nader clears first hurdle

Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader is on his way to gaining access to the New Hampshire ballot in November.

Yesterday, Nader's campaign handed in 6,000 signatures to town clerks across the state. August 6th was the deadline for independent statewide candidates to collect 3,000 signatures.

"Turning in double the amount gives us a lot of extra insurance," said Chris Driscoll, Nader's national communications director.

Nader collecting signatures to gain ballot access

Presidential candidate Ralph Nader is in the process of collecting enough signatures so his name can appear on the November ballot in New Hampshire.

"We are in the process of collecting the necessary signatures," said Nader's national ballot access coordinator Jason Kafoury. "Our goal is to get 3,000 signatures per congressional district."

Nader has also brought on a state co-coordinator, Gary Hoffman, who is overseeing the effort.
