SarahPAC Denies NH Palin Robopolls

Remember the Sarah Palin robopolls from a few days ago?

Well, neither does SarahPAC:A spokesman for Palin's new political action committee, SarahPAC, e-mailed us yesterday that "this is news to us" and the PAC "is not doing any polling."

Pam Pryor called it "curious" and said she would check into it.Considering that the Sarah Palin Experiment was one of the most mendacious phenomena ever released into the American political bloodstream, I can't see how anything from SarahPAC is credible.

But there we are.  Good for DiStaso for getting them on the record.

Palin polling in NH?

A blogger on Blue Hampshire is reporting that a friend received a robosurvey about Gov. Sarah Palin.

I haven’t heard anyone else receiving the same phone call but read the entire diary yourself at: Sarah Palin for President: It begins…with robopolling?

More of AG Ayotte Representing Our Values

Yet again, Ms. Ayotte has proven that she is more interested in making certain of her right-wing bona fides than in representing New Hampshire's citizens.

Anti-choice? Check...

Against marriage equality? Check...

Extra-extra pro-death penalty? Check...

and, as of yesterday...

Anti-medical marijuana!

She's practically Sarah  Palin without the trendy eyewear.

Friday morning link dump ...

Well, I haven't been feeling so hot the last couple of days. Spring can't come fast enough at this point. I have a bunch of links piled up and I need to get rid of them so here it goes.

A couple of months ago we had an ice storm across the Northeast that left thousands without power for weeks on end. Electrical workers from across the country came up here to assist getting everyone back on the grid.
We were, thankfully, only without power for about eight or nine hours during the evening. Our immediate neighbors were not so lucky - they were without power for four days.

Memo to the President Re: Gregg Trial Balloon

Dear Mr. President:
Thursday we launched a trial balloon indicating that you might appoint Sen. Judd Gregg (R-NH) as Commerce Secretary.  We planned at that time to evaluate the potential appointment in seven areas:

1. Job Qualifications
2. Skeletons in the closet
3. Strengthening Economic Stimulus Team
4. Relationships with GOP
5. Reaction of Key Constituencies
6. Key Administration Themes
7. Realpolitik

This memo summarizes what we have learned in each. I have proposed a grade from 1 (poor) to 5 (very strong) in each area.
Job Qualifications: Gregg has been a key member of the Senate Budget Committee, now its ranking member and previously its Chairman. He has a degree in tax law.  He served as Governor of New Hampshire and helped stabilize its budget.

"Senator Obama has spent his entire life bringing people together to solve problems," Weld told reporters at a press conference.
