Clemons calls state senate races ‘tight’

NASHUA--State Rep. Jane Clemons (D-Nashua) said that she expects both state senate races in Nashua to be "tight" on Election Day.

In state senate District 13, state Rep. Betty Lasky (D-Nashua) is running against Nashua school board member Sandra Ziehm (R-Nashua), while voters in state senate District 12 are witnessing a three-way race between Paul LaFlamme (R-Nashua), Peggy Gilmour (D-Hollis) and state Rep. Betty Hall (I-Hollis).

"I think both of them are going to be tight on election night," Clemons told PolitickerNH.com.

Updated: A look at the state senate numbers

Below is a breakdown of the latest fundraising numbers in each state senate race. The numbers reflect the cash-on-hand for the candidates as reported on the Secretary of State website, if it says "not available" next to a candidate it means the office has not posted the candidate report. Republican candidates are in the first column and Democratic candidates in the second column. Candidates who do not raise and spend more than $500 are not required to file a fundraising report to the Secretary of State office.
