Shea-Porter tells supporters she’ll work ‘for rest of us’

U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester) told supporters in an e-mail that she has already met with congressional staff to lay-out her legislative agenda for the next session.

Shea-Porter was elected to a second term when she defeated former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) on Election Day.

Sununu thanks supporters in email

A week after losing to former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen (D-Madbury), U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley) has emailed supporters thanking them for helping his re-election campaign.

However, Sununu did not address questions about a grassroots movement trying draft him into running for the Republican National Committee Chairman, or rumors about his political future.

Horn reaching out to supporters

SALEM-- Jennifer Horn's (R-Nashua) campaign manager told PolitickerNH.com that the campaign is busy identifying voters and making sure they get to the polls on primary day.

"We're going to be calling and turning out our voters and make sure that every Jennifer Horn supporter becomes a Jennifer Horn voter," David Chesley said.

Horn is competing in the 2nd Congressional District Republican primary that features state Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson), Jim Steiner (R-Concord) and Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro).

Bradley ‘optimistic’ about race

MANCHESTER-- A day before Tuesday's primary, former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) was on the phone rallying voters and asking key supporters for any last-minute assistance they could offer to help him clinch the GOP nomination in the 1st Congressional District.

Bradley also spent the day in Manchester meeting voters at diners and going door-to-door.

"I'm optimistic about tomorrow we're getting a great response," Bradley told PolitickerNH.com.

Stephen rallies supporters

Horn: 'We can do better'

SALEM--Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) spent the Sunday before the primary telling supporters that voters "can do better" than current U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord).

Obama campaign beginning to organize

Sen. Barack Obama's campaign has begun to organize Granite State supporters.

Later tonight, Obama supporters will gather for events in Manchester, Peterborough and North Hampton.

Tomorrow, supporters will meet in Rye and Londonderry.
