Limiting Spending: Local voters lead the way

As state and federal lawmakers pass record spending bills, New Hampshire voters are showing much more fiscal restraint at Town Meeting. Both the Union Leader and Nashua Telegraph note this year's streak of yankee frugality:

Union Leader:

Union Leader Disowns Judd Gregg (via The Globe)

Still think Judas Gregg is the GOP's newest hero?

Kinda hard to do when you've lost Joe McQuaid, the only man on earth who can spin gold out of elephant dung better than Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly:

The bridge will now serve as the new gateway into downtown Manchester and the project will be completely finished in the spring of 2009.
