LaMontagne starts new site

Beth LaMontagne Hall, of NHPols.com fame, has started a new website.

The site, "Swing State 2008," is primarily focused on media coverage of the various races thus far. She will also provide some commentary on the goofier press releases that will hit her inbox during the election.

LaMontagne Hall also used to write the Portsmouth Herald's "Weekly Political Roundup" column.

NRSC re-launches anti-Shaheen website

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has re-launched their website criticizing Jeanne Shaheen's (D-Madbury) gubernatorial record.

The site, "The Shaheen Record," includes videos and briefings outlining Shaheen's record.

Shaheen is competing for the U.S. Senate against current U.S. Sen. John E. Sununu (R-Waterville Valley).

N.H. Dems launch ‘GOP dirty tricks’ website

The New Hampshire Democratic Party has started a website aimed at keeping track of what they call "Republican dirty tricks."

The website, "GOP Dirty Tricks," encourages visitors to fill out a form that details phone calls they have received, mailers being sent to mailboxes or any advertisements that are being aired.

Stepanek to run for Executive Council

State Rep. Stephen Stepanek (R-Amherst) has decided to run the Executive Council.

Stepanek will be challenging Councilor Debora Pignatelli (D-Nashua) for the District 5 seat.

The Amherst state rep has established a political action committee called "Friends of Stephen Stepanek" and has set-up a website: http://stephenbstepanek.com.
