They Don't Support The Troops

(I thought it was time to bump this back to the top)

Face it. There are people that we no longer have to pretend "support the troops". I'm not just talking about the nutjobs (for lack of a better, non-profane term) that hold up "we support the troops when they kill their officers" placards (incidentally I didn't see any of them there to support the guy here in NY that did just that, lobbing a grenade into a command tent in an effort to kill officers - where were his placard holding buddies?), no, I'm talking about your everyday, ordinary, leftwing celebrities and politicians.

Baloney sandwiches still available in the Obama aisle, courtesy of David Limbaugh:
Just to illustrate the speciousness of Obama's preposterously unprovable claim that saved jobs are measurable, you should know that two administration financial officials, Ed DeSeve and Jared Bernstein, were unable to say how many of the 640,329 jobs were saved and how many were created. It's also noteworthy that Obama promised in January that more than 90 percent of the stimulus jobs would be in the private sector, but more than half -- 325,000 -- were in education alone...

Of all the words Obama uttered, though, nothing came close in sheer audacity to his announcement that he had planned "a forum at the White House on jobs and economic growth .

Let Me Guess - The Public Is To Blame?

I have to conclude that the fact that about 80% of the citizens of the United States no longer believe Obey-Won can only mean one thing to the press - that they're stupid, need more prime time speeches on every network, need more of their businesses to be run by the Won and his donors, and have too many rights. MRC reports on their puzzlement:
Long after conservatives and the American people figured it out, CBS on Monday night came to the realization President Barack Obama has a “credibility” problem fueled by the “disconnect” between Obama's promise to reduce the deficit as he pushes for massive new spending.

What A Waste

There's a good reason why adults today are unhappily telling their children that, for the first time in many generations, the world they are leaving them is not better than the one their parents left for them. Instead of doing something about it, of course, the Democratic Debt-i Knights with Obey-Won at the controls are putting the "metal to the pedal and the thing to the floor":
We knew something was funny when the White House claimed that 640,000 to 1 million jobs had been created from this year's stimulus. What we didn't know was that it would turn into a massive fraud.

Owens Immediately Sells Out NY-23

Wow, that was fast! Mere hours after being sworn in to represent the 23rd, Bill Owens goes from being against the socialization of health care bill currently before Congress to voting for it...after getting to meet with Obey-Won. Any true moderates that voted for Owens because of his stated stances on taxes and health care regretting their votes that put him over the top? Lots of fun being sold out less than a full day after the guy gets into office, eh?

IBD:
Let's start with Bill Owens. He's the "moderate" Democrat who won the infamous N.Y.-23 congressional election last week after liberal Republican Dede Scozzafava dropped out and supported him rather than Conservative Party stalwart Doug Hoffman.

Democrats' Power Grab

You'd think that they'd be content with controlling the White House, Congress, the Supreme Court, etc etc. You'd be wrong.

Of course if you have your eyes open and realize that the "democrats" running the show in the White House and Congress are actually communists and fascists you'd realize that they're not at all content with simple power...they want to expand and extend their control over every aspect of your lives and over the country. Car companies, banks, doctors...how about the entire financial industry in America?

Don't scoff - they're trying to do it as we speak - lead by a guy that let a gay prostitution ring be run out of his house who thinks he can run Wall Street better than his bedroom:
Washington is quietly preparing a hostile takeover of Wall Street with a new bill that would put regulators in control of managing asset prices.

Star Parker has an interesting hate crime analogy:
Can you imagine a football game where the penalty for roughing the passer is 20 yards rather than 15 yards if the referee concludes that the violence perpetrated was motivated because the quarterback was homosexual?
Most open and transparent administration - evah!
Late Friday during the idle hours of the news cycle, the administration released the names of 100 White House visitors in 481 visits. It wasn't exactly the transparency the president promised. It was simply in compliance with two court rulings that ordered the names to be made public record. Unable to admit misconduct, the White House insisted its disclosure was voluntary.

Hypocrite Of The Day Award

He actually deserves it for the year, but in this case we'll give it to him for the day:President Barack Obama ordered the flags at the White House and other federal buildings be at half-staff and urged people not to draw conclusions while authorities investigate.

"We don't know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts," Obama said in a statement.Whew! Good thing it wasn't a white guy shooting up a bunch of blacks, or a catholic shooting up some muslims (like either of those keep happening)...otherwise jumping to conclusions would be all the rage.

Good job, Obey-Won, wouldn't want to claim the muslim murderer was acting stupidly or anything.

Emmerich: Changed Movie Out Of Fear Of Muslims

If we don't live our lives the way we wish, then the terrorists will have won.

Meet Roland Emmerich, a man whose movies I have indeed enjoyed in the past, letting their oft-foolish storylines and even liberal propaganda wash over and past me without leaving a trace while enjoying, well, stuff blowing up.

So it turns out, in his latest movie, that Emmerich blows up more stuff. A lot of stuff.

Except for the one thing he really wanted to blow up. Real bad. The Kaaba.

Chalk one up for the terrorists. Add Emmerich to the list of people refusing to go about their lives the way they wish, doing what they want to do, because they're afraid of muslims blowing them up for real or chopping their heads off, or similarly "peaceful" activities.

Let The Desperate Spinning Begin

Let's see...

Congressional approval is still absolutely appalling.

Republicans continue to lead the generic ballot poll.

Republicans are trusted over Democrats on each of the 10 key polled categories.

Since the Democrats took over Congress the economy has gone into a recession and since Obama has taken office the unemployment rate has "skyrocketed" to 10% with no signs of easing in sight or predicted for at least 2 years - the ruling party calls their actions in dealing with this as "succeeding beyond their wildest dreams"...which makes voters wonder what their dreams are.

The ruling party has lost seats in midterm elections with clocklike regularity (only in 2002 did the GOP buck this trend).
