Now Dailey hits Space over Obama

U.S. House candidate Fred Dailey (R-Mt. Vernon) has attacked U.S. Rep. Zack Space (D-Dover) for endorsing U.S. Sen. Barack Obama for president. This attack comes days after the Ohio Republican Party attacked Gov. Ted Strickland for backing Obama.

"A Zack Space, Barack Obama team does not reflect the conservative values of the 18th District," Dailey said. "At such a challenging time in our history, America cannot afford inexperienced leaders and more unfulfilled promises. The endorsement of Obama shows how truly out of touch Zack Space is with this district."

The Dailey campaign's release is more explicit.

"Senator Obama and Congressman Space have many similarities as politicians. Both men have voted to increase taxes. Both men have a 100% pro-abortion rating. Both men are in the middle of their first term in office. Both men have voted with their party leadership over 90% of the time. In addition to all these similarities, Congressman Space's campaign has accepted $7500 from Senator Obama," the campaign said.
