Poll shows Kilroy steady as Stivers drops

Mary Jo Kilroy leads in the race for the 15th Congressional District, according to a new poll of likely voters conducted by Survey USA.

Kilroy (D-Columbus) maintains her lead over Steve Stivers (R-Columbus) 47 to 41 percent. Kilroy has the same percentage of support she had in previous Survey USA polls dating back to August.

Meanwhile, Stivers' support has declined slightly over time: from 44 percent in August to 42 percent in September and 41 percent today.

The October poll said four percent are undecide and independent Donald Elijah Eckhart has 6 percent support.

Kilroy has a clear edge among independents: 46 percent to Stivers' 31 percent and Eckhart's 12 percent.

Of early voters, Kilroy leads by 16 percent. Of those who have not yet voted, Kilroy and Stivers are tied in support.
