Second Neuhardt ad pulled after Huntington complains to Redfern

Updated: A second ad from the campaign of attorney Sharen Neuhardt (D-Yellow Springs) has been pulled from online.

A Republican source told PolitickerOH.com that the ad was pulled because Huntington Bank, whose corporate logo was in the ad, called Ohio Democratic Party chair Chris Redfern threatening to press charges unless the ad was pulled.

The Ohio Democratic party flatly denied the call.

State House candidate says Dem attack is sexist

A Democratic direct mail attack on state House candidate Carol-Ann Schindel showing her in a short skirt holding pom-poms is being tagged as sexist and her campaign wants an apology.

The Ohio Democratic Party mailer sent to residents of the 63rd House district says Schindel (R-Leroy Twp.) is "cheering for George W. Bush!" and quotes her as saying  "I certainly applaud the work he has done with the economy."

Stivers burns Kilroy with past in final ad

The last ad from 15th Congressional District candidate Steve Stivers is accusing Mary Jo Kilroy of burning through taxpayers’ money if she’s elected to Congress.

Stivers’ (R-Columbus) ad builds the case against Kilroy’s (D-Columbus) future in Congress by citing her past as a Franklin County commissioner and Columbus school board member – all the while showing money burning behind Kilroy’s picture.

Kilroy is accused of losing $1 million worth of school money while on its board and raising taxes by $200 million on Franklin County residents as commissioner.

Neuhardt claims new ad exposes Austria for who he really is

The campaign of attorney Sharen Neuhardt (D-Yellow Springs) released a new TV ad that they say exposes opponent state Sen. Steve Austria (R-Beavercreek) for who he really is.

"Steve Austria is another career politician filling his campaign coffers with thousands of dollars from some of the very people who pushed our country into an economic crisis," said Neuhardt spokesperson Jessica Kershaw. "Austria's best friends are Big Oil and Big Money. He'll be no friend to the voters of this District."

Schmidt camp hits back on DCCC ad, says Dems lie when facts aren’t on their side

The campaign of U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) hit back on the second ad being run by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in Ohio's 2nd Congressional District, saying it was merely spreading new lies on top of a pack of old lies.

Schmidt spokesperson Bruce Pfaff said that Democrats lie when they don't have the facts on their side.

ORP airs radio ad knocking Brunner

Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner (D) is being targeted in a statewide radio ad purchased by the Ohio Republican Party.

The ad fires accuses Brunner of concealing evidence of voter fraud across Ohio.

The party also started a new website detailing its charges against Brunner and petitioning supporters to donate to its "Legal Defense Fund."

In second ad, DCCC calls Schmidt 'what's wrong with Washington'

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is up witht their second ad in the race for Ohio's 2nd Congressional District, this time calling U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) "what's wrong with Washington."

The DCCC replicates some hits from a previous ad, and comes at Schmidt with some new ones.

Space attacks cash-strapped Dailey on TV

U.S. Rep. Zack Space (D-Dover) has more than 11 times as much cash on hand than Fred Dailey (R-Mt. Vernon) and the 18th Congressional District race isn't listed as competitive by many national observers.

But that didn't prevent Space from launching an attack ad against Dailey -- who isn't even on television himself. 

The 30-second ad was seen by PolitickerOH.com during the 8:00 hour on a Columbus station. It attacks Dailey for supporting NAFTA and American jobs.

Wulsin camp hits Schmidt for shooting location of TV ad

The campaign of Dr. Victoria Wulsin (D-Indian Hill) is hitting U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) for the location she shot part of a television advertisement.

The Wulsin campaign is hitting Schmidt for the ad that talks about the "success we've enjoyed" appearing to have been filmed at a "luxury hotel."

Neuhardt claims 'better, bolder' leadership in new TV ad

UPDATED: Attorney Sharen Neuhardt (D-Yellow Springs) is claiming "better, bolder" leadership in a new TV ad in the race for Ohio's 7th Congressional District.

The ad uses quotes from the Dayton Daily News to attack opponent state Sen. Steve Austria (R-Beavercreek) in the race to replace retiring U.S. Rep. David Hobson (R-Springfield).

The News endorsed Neuhardt in the race.
