Fox News: "Bobby Jindal: the Future of the Republican Party-- We Are Boned"

When FoxNews can't even fake it anymore for a Republican, you're in trouble. Although, I thought the worst Republican image of the night was the Congressional Republicans refusal to applaud health insurance for children. Think the DCCC isn't going to run that in a few ads next year?

I hear David Brooks also ripped Jindal's premise that the federal government cannot be part of the solution as politically tone deaf at a time when Americans believe the federal government is strong enough to help the economy on PBS.

DCCC buried defeated Republicans with $6M

Democrats carried three U.S. House seats in Ohio this year by riding an avalanche of cash from their congressional committee. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee spent three times as much on the races than its Republican counterpart, according to Federal Election Commission reports.

The DCCC spent $6.02 million on the 1st, 15th, and 16th Congressional District races from July 1 to Election Day. Meanwhile, the National Republican Campaign Committee spent about $2 million across the 1st and 15th districts only.

$1.3M spent for Dems in three U.S. House races

Democrats just received $1.3 million in help to win three U.S. House seats in Ohio from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

The DCCC purchased six-figure media buys in the 1st, 2nd and 15th Congressional Districts Tuesday, according to the Federal Elections Commission.

Schmidt camp hits back on DCCC ad, says Dems lie when facts aren’t on their side

The campaign of U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) hit back on the second ad being run by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in Ohio's 2nd Congressional District, saying it was merely spreading new lies on top of a pack of old lies.

Schmidt spokesperson Bruce Pfaff said that Democrats lie when they don't have the facts on their side.

In second ad, DCCC calls Schmidt 'what's wrong with Washington'

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is up witht their second ad in the race for Ohio's 2nd Congressional District, this time calling U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) "what's wrong with Washington."

The DCCC replicates some hits from a previous ad, and comes at Schmidt with some new ones.

CQ Politics re-rates the race for Ohio's 16th

Congressional Quarterly Politics has re-rated the race for Ohio's 16th Congressional District from "No Clear Favorite" to "Leans Democratic."

The race pits state Sen. John Boccieri (D-Alliance) against state Sen. Kirk Schuring (R-Jackson Township) to replace retiring U.S. Rep. Ralph Regula (R-Navarre).

DCCC poll: Kilroy leads

A poll commissioned by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee shows 15th Congressional District Mary Jo Kilroy leading Stieve Stivers but short of a majority.

Kilroy (D-Columbus) has 44 percent support to Stivers' (R-Columbus) 36 percent support. Independent Donald Elijah Eckhart has 11 percent.

Barack Obama leads in the district 51 to 39 percent over John McCain.

DCCC says Schmidt should be ashamed for having 'gone Washington'

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is going after U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) for having "gone Washington" accodring to the organization.

In a new TV ad, the DCCC hits Schmidt for voting for a Congressional pay raise while voting "repeatedly against money for veterans' health care."

The ad also accuses Schmidt of having "turned her back" on veterans during the Walter Reed melee.

Wulsin getting $145K worth of help from DCCC

The campaign of Dr. Victoria Wulsin (D-Indian Hill) got a boost this past week from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in the form of $141,525 media buy in her race against U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland).

The DCCC Independent Expenditure also disclosed spending $3,784 for media production to the Federal Election Commission, bringing total expenses for the Democratic campaign organization to above $145,000 over the past week in the race for Ohio's 2nd Congressional District.
