Schuring denounces outside groups influencing race for 16th

Conservative political advocacy group Freedom's Watch announced last week that it would be running radio ads against Democratic Congressional candidates state Sen. John Boccieri (D-Alliance) and Franklin Co. Commissioner Mary Jo Kilroy (D-Columbus).

The ads running against Boccieri hit him on the issue of inaction to lower gas prices, just as robocalls from the group did last month.

Boccieri responds to latest Freedom’s Watch ad buy

State Sen. John Boccieri (D-Alliance) responded to the news that conservative advocacy group Freedom's Watch would be running radio ads against him over the next several weeks that hit him on the issue of inaction to lower gas prices, just as robocalls from the group did last month.

The Boccieri camp said that the group is blaming Boccieri for high gas prices that he opposed.

DCCC to run ads to counter Freedom's Watch

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Independent Expenditure announced Wednesday that it would be countering ads from conservative advocacy group Freedom's Watch run in Ohio against Franklin Co. Commissioner Mary Jo Kilroy (D-Columbus), running in the 15th district, and state Sen. John Boccieri (D-Alliance), running in the 16th district.

Freedom's Watch targets Boccieri, Driehaus with robocalls

Two Democratic state lawmakers running for Congress are being targeted by a new series of robocalls about gas prices from Freedom's Watch, the conservative-leaning advocacy group. The calls, which will begin today, will go out to residents represented by state Sens. John Boccieri and Steve Driehaus.

Conservative advocacy group to launch robocalls against Space

Freedom's Watch, the conservative advocacy group, is launching about three dozen robocalls over the next week targeting U.S. House members across the country, including one vulnerable incumbent in Ohio, PolitickerOH.com has learned.

The target list for the robocalls includes Democratic Rep. Zack Space, among a host of other members of Congress.
