The first meeting is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Madison Township Community
Center, 4575 Madison Lane, Groveport.
The next two meetings are set for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the Beech Maple Lodge in Blacklick
Woods Metro Park, 6975 E. Livingston Ave., in Reynoldsburg, and 6 to 8 p.m. on April 6 at Tartan
East Golf Club, 6140 Babbitt Rd., New Albany.
Some streams in the watershed have high bacteria counts because of failing septic systems.
Fertilizers and pesticides from lawns and farm fields also pollute the stream.
Cleanup options include conservation easements, finding money to buy land for parks, and
improving storm-water basins, said David Rutter, MORPC's watershed coordinator.
