The campaign of Dr. Victoria Wulsin is criticizing U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) for going up with a TV attack ad, one week after inviting opponents to sign a clean campaign pledge at a debate last week.

Schmidt camp warns Wulsin to 'correct false information' on financial disclosure or 'face formal charges'

The campaign of U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) is calling on opponent Dr. Victoria Wulsin (D-Indian Hill) to "correct false information on her federal financial disclosure documents of face formal charges."

The campaign said that Wulsin has been required by law to file personal financial disclosure statements since she first ran for Congress in 2005. The Schmidt camp says there are "several inconsistencies in those reports with assets appearing in some and not in others."

Fundraising letter starts tiff in OH-2

A fundraising letter from the campaign of U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) has set off a tiff in the race for Ohio's 2nd Congressional district.

Schmidt is being challenged by Dr. Victoria Wulsin (D-Indian Hill) and businessman David Krikorian (I-Madeira).

Hamilton County Democratic Party chair Tim Burke responded to the fundraising letter by calling on Schmidt to "clarify who she believes is drilling off the coast of Florida and whether or not she is trying to raise funds based on a claim that China or Cuba is drilling near our shores."

Medical Board mum on Wulsin complaint

Due to confidentiality requirements in the Ohio Revised Code, the State Medical Board of Ohio will neither confirm nor deny investigators found any merit in the complaint filed against Dr. Victoria Wulsin (D-Indian Hill) about her ties to the Heimlich Institute and "malariotherapy". The board will also neither confirm nor deny that a complaint was ever filed.
