No sleep ... 'til after the convention

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- After a long night, the final day of the Republican National Convention will start early and end late for Oregon's delegates.

Roll call voting at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul went until well past 1 a.m. Thursday, as Oregon announced 30 delegates would be casting their votes for John McCain, and four would be voting for Ron Paul.

Delegates managed to squeeze in a few hours of sleep after the late-night vote, but they are up and at ‘em early on Thursday for a caucus breakfast that will feature former U.S. Rep. Dick Armey (R-Texas). The delegation will then attend the last night of the convention, where the main event of this evening's convention will be when presidential candidate John McCain (R-Ariz.) will accept the presidential nomination.
