Nader on ballot

Three-time presidential candidate Ralph Nader will once again be on the ballot this November after collecting enough signatures from Pennsylvania residents before the Aug. 1 deadline.

Of course, he was originally on the ballot in 2004 before being thrown off because the Pennsylvania courts ruled many of his signatures were invalid. Nader's supporters have vowed this won't happen in 2008.

That controversy was reopened earlier this month when, as part of his 73-page "Bonusgate" presentment, Attorney General Tom Corbett alleged House Democratic staffers illegally worked on the taxpayer dime to remove Nader from the ballot.

Nader appeared at the state Capitol in July to rail against the corruption charges and demand he be recouped for the $81,000 he was ordered to pay after being removed from the ballot.
