Pa. GOP blasts Biden choice
By Alex Roarty, PolitickerPA.com ReporterThe Pennsylvania GOP wasted little time criticizing Barack Obama's selection of Joe Biden, saying the senator from Delaware is not a candidate who will change Washington.
"For a candidate running on a 'change' message, it's very hypocritical for Barack Obama to pick the consumate Washington insider to serve as his running mate," said state GOP Chairman Bob Gleason. "Obama's decision to name Joe Biden as his running mate proves once again how out-of-touch he is with hardworking Pennsylvanians."
Gleason added that Obama's "poor reaction to the conflict in Georgia coupled with his drop in the polls has left the Obama Campaign scrambling."
