The day before the toughest political battle of his career, U.S. Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D-Nanticoke) will get an assist from former President Bill Clinton.
Clinton is scheduled to campaign for Kanjorski Monday afternoon at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre.
Kanjorski, the longtime incumbent facing Republican Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta in the 11th Congressional District, is considered one of the most vulnerable Democrats in Congress.
UPDATE: The Kanjorski campaign now says the event will take place Monday evening, not afternoon, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
