Ogden overrides budget vetoes / Mayor says he won't comply with policies, calls them illegal

OGDEN -- The city council Tuesday night overrode a trio of budget line-item vetoes from Mayor Matthew Godfrey. No texting while driving

FARMINGTON -- Davis County commissioners have approved a plan that bans county employees from texting and even phoning home while driving at work. The policy prohibits employees from committing "distracted driving" acts, such as texting messages and using computers and cell phones, while they drive as part of their responsibility for the county.
