Vermont Democratic Party launches program to protect voters at the polls

The Vermont Democratic Party announced Thursday its plan to ensure that eligible voters will have access to polling stations across the state.

The Democratic Party has organized a team of lawyers to be ready on election night should voters encounter any problems at the polls and established a voter hotline that Vermonters can call should any problems arise.

Democrats release new video bashing Gov. Douglas' sex offender policies

The Vermont Democratic Party released a video Wednesday attacking Gov. Jim Douglas (R-Middlebury) for state policies dealing with sex offenders.

The video charges Douglas with avoiding key questions about current policies, including questions about hiring and staffing in Vermont's Corrections Department, and the implementation of a Special Investigative Unit for sex crimes.

The Clinton campaign is announcing that Chelsea Clinton will be making a campaign stop in Vermont on Friday.

VT democratic party to host delegate selection trainings

The Executive Director of the Vermont Democractic Party Jill Krowinski announced three trainings on “How to Become a Delegate to the Democractic National Convention.” Democrats in Vermont will vote for their Democratic Presidential nominee on March 4. "The energy around the Presidential Primary has been tremendous and we want to make sure every Vermont Democrat interested in supporting his or her candidate at the National Convention in Denver this summer knows how to become a delegate," Krowinski said.
