Poll: Obama’s approval rate among Virginians is 42 percent
Richmond Times DispatchA new poll finds that more Virginians disapprove of President Barack Obama’s performance in office than approve of him. The poll by Public Policy Polling shows him with a 42 percent approval rating, while 51 percent disapprove. That’s down from a positive 48-46 percent rating a month ago. The poll taken July 31 to Aug. 3 surveyed 579 likely voters. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percent.
