Loopholes allow for massive contributions in Pierce Co. Exec race

Three Pierce County companies are using loopholes in state campaign finance laws in order to expand their influence in the Pierce County executive race, according to an in-depth story by the Tacoma News-Tribune's David Wickert.

The companies, Sumner's Investco and Corliss Resources and Tacoma's Tucci & Son's Construction,  are taking advantage of a rule that allows each of a companie's subsidiaries to max out to a candidate without counting toward the parent company's limit.

The main beneficiaries of these contributions have been Calvin Goings (D-Puyallup) and Shawn Bunney (R-Bonney Lake), while Pat McCarthy (D-Tacoma) has received a very small piece of the largesse.

Bunney has taken in jsut over $30,000 from the groups, Goings nearly $20,000, and McCarthy $1,600.

Michael Tucci, the president of Tucci & Sons, wrote a statement to explain his intentions, which he felt were part of a civic duty.

"We feel it is part of our civic responsibility to do all we can to assure that qualified political candidates have the financial resources to run their campaigns and inform the electorate of their policies and qualifications," Tucci wrote to the TNT.

The Pierce County executive race, which also icludes independent candidate Mike Lonergan of Tacoma, will be decided by a ranked choice election for the first time in office history next Tuesday.

Sexy Prom Dress Prom night is

Sexy Prom Dress
Prom night is the occasion most teenagers look forward to. Prom marks the end of one phase of life and the beginning of another. It is the night of glamour as it is the last formal
occasion celebrated in high school and it is to be remembered and cherished. This is the reason why dressing up is so important.
Planning for the prom starts weeks in advance with a search for the dress, taking into account material, color and of course, the shoes. These days, it is not enough to be just beautiful. The final effect has to be as stunning and even as sexy as possible. The most popular sexy prom dresses are satin, sequined, vintage and the little black Prom Dresses as well as the hanky hem, the short and spicy prom dress and the classic Cinderella ball gown.
For a sexy prom dress, it is very important to determine the exact kind of dress that would suit you. The dress may look great on a model but it is necessary that it looks great on you too. To that end, take accurate hip, waist and bust measurements. Next, determine the kind of body you have-an A or H type, round or hourglass body-before you ship for a dress to die for.The Prom Dress can be sexier when it's the right color. Dark muted colors like deep gray, wine, forest green, burgundy, midnight blue and cocoa flatter a fuller figure while neutral colors like silver, black, gray, beige, gold and taupe give a longer, leaner look. Long straight cuts and vertical patterns also make the wearer look slim and sexy.
A professional would be able to help design the sexiest dress. There are several online outlets that sell beautiful Prom Dresses. These websites also provide information about choosing the right kind of Prom Dress and also help to design one. These include dresses from popular designers like Jovani, Riva, Alyce, Mori Lee, Cassandra, Je Matadi, Tiffany and Celebrity.
