Obama PLEO delegates chosen

The seven Party Leader & Elected Official (PLEO) delegates pledged to Sen. Barack Obama at the Democratic were chosen Sunday. The group includes a wide range of elected officials from within the party with two state senators, a state representative, a mayor, county chair, county commissioner and even a precinct committee officer. At least one Wash. Clinton delegate switching

Hillary Clinton's own words, part of what many pundits thought were a distinct campaign strategy, may come back to haunt her here in Washington.

"There are elected delegates, caucus delegates and superdelegates, all for different reasons, and they're all equal in their ability to cast their vote for whomever they choose. Even elected and caucus delegates are not required to stay with whomever they are pledged to."
