Burner raises nearly a half million in Q1

Fearing tops $100k in fundraising

George Fearing (D-Richland) has topped the $100,000 mark in his campaign to unseat Rep. Doc Hastings in Central Washington's 4th District. The campaign started late in 2007, and had raised around $60,000 by January.

"Reaching the $100,000 goal was a major milestone," said assistant campaign manager Mimi Latta in the Benton County Democratic Party newsletter. "We sincerely thank all of those who contributed"
