Washington congressional delegation splits on party lines for auto bailout

Washington state's congressional delecgation split perfectly down party lines during yesterday's House roll call vote on the proposed $14 billion auto industry bailout bill.

All six Democrats voted for the legislation that would have given major subsidies to the nation's failing auto companies, while the three Republicans voted against it.

Eyman touts fundraising prowess

Tim Eyman, the lead organizer behind I-985, a ballot initiative that seeks to shape the way the Department of Transportation controls traffic in the state, made waves earlier this year when he took a $250,000 loan out on his house to finance the campaign after his long-time financial backer Mike Dunmire decided to back off this time around.
